I've seen a woman three times at my office, always walking the same path, always head down where I can't see her face. One time was very, very clear, twice it was more "misty". Residual, right? But recently, there have been noises that one of my co-workers heard, too. It's noises on the roof like someone is running fast, but we hear only 4 or 5 steps. We have security cameras and no one is there. No animal, no branches falling. We had plumbing and AC work done recently and I asked both if anything up there would be making a bumping sound. Both work crews checked it out and both said "no".
Just last week a door across the hall from my office door kept closing half way. It's a heavy door that has to be pulled fairly hard because it rubs against the carpeting. We never close it except during fire drills. It's a door the woman figure passes through when I see her. I never actually saw the door move. I was alone in the office for 2 hours last Friday. I walked out of my office, saw the door half closed, pushed it open. Not 3 minutes later, I walked back and the door was half closed again. I pushed it open again and slid the table that holds our fax machine in front of it (about 2 inches of the table in front of the door). Maybe 15 minutes later, I walked out to the hallway again. The fax machine table was back in it's usual place and the door was half closed. It never happened before and it didn't happen today (the Monday after).
A few weeks ago, I heard a perfect stranger in the grocery store telling her friend that she used to go to a church on a particular street that closed down and was turned into an office building. It was my building, so I butted in. Without telling any of this long story, I asked if anything unusual happened in the building when it was a church. She said a woman died of a heart attack there. I asked her to describe the location. She described in perfect detail the location of MY office and the hallway leading to it. I don't talk about it at work, but it's real!
