I was kicked out of my church congregation because I said I saw a ghost and believe in their existence. Also I received very bad looks and threats because I offered very compelling photographs and evidence of UFO & aliens to the high school sunday school class i used to teach.

Must have been a bad church to begin with. Jesus himself used to hang out with "spirits" and even describes what a ghost looks like in Luke Chapter 23 I think (When he appeared to the two men walking) - he said " You act like you've seen a ghost. A ghost does not have skin and bones as I do."
Jesus the man said that several thousand years ago so I would think if anyone knew, it would be him.

As a teacher, I would have to say that maybe you should not have shown the photos to your Sunday school class. That said, I am appalled that your congregation would kick you out over your belief in the paranormal. As Steven mentioned, the Bible does speak of spirits...the same spirits/ghosts we speak of in the paranormal field. Why? Because they do exist and anyone who claims to follow the word of God should allow for that possibility within their own minds. Geesh...whatever happened to "love thy neighbor as thyself" in that church?? Sorry you had to deal with that Brian, and I hope you find a more suitable and understanding church home.
