The South Texas Ghost Hunters Alliance (STGHA) is a community of ghost hunters from many different groups working together. Anyone can be a STGHA member as long as they are respectful to each other and the dead.
We don't believe in bickering, bad talking, or talking smack about other people or groups because we have a zero tolerance for it. Our goal is to work together, to share ideas and compliment each others knowledge and ideas.
Being a STGHA member doesn't give you a STGHA badge to go ghost hunting under our name. You can go on an investigation when picked by a lead investigator and then you represent STGHA when in someone's home or business.
STGHA conducts most of its investigations in the state of Texas. We will first determine the type of investigation is needed, what city the person who needs us is in, and then determine if this is a private investigation or an open investigaiton where many people can join.
The Ghost Education & Research Center (GERC) is headquartered in the Pacific Northwest in Vancouver, Washington/Portland, Oregon and is focused on digging deeper in what happens during a paranormal event. How does an entity manipulate objects, do they have weight? These and many detailed questions are investigated using state of the art equipment.
GERC doesn't focus on how many investigators but on the caliber of the investigators. A lot of very intelligent, scientific think tanks are working together to help answer our tough questions. We work with University students and professors to better understand paranormal activity.
If you feel you have something you can contribute to our group, let us know by sending us an email along with your qualifications.
